Daisy can be programmed in a number of different languages and programming environments.
These are split between official runtimes which are maintained by Electrosmith, and community runtimes which are maintained by the community.

Which Programming Language Should You Use?¶
If you are comfortable with C++, we'd recommend starting there since it provides the most functionality with the least amount of overhead.
If you're familiar with Max/MSP or Pure Data, we'd recommend starting with Oopsy or Plugdata since it will be the fastest way to get up and running.
