Returns

Every Daisy product is covered by a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery. If something arrives damaged or stops working within that window, start a return request and we'll take it from there.

Before you start

Daisy hardware is a development platform, and a lot of what looks like a hardware fault turns out to be a flashing, power, or wiring issue that's quick to fix. It's worth a few minutes here first; you may not need a return at all.

  • Work through the getting-started and troubleshooting guides at docs.daisy.audio.
  • Search or post on the community forum. The team and other developers are active there.
  • Still stuck? Contact us and we'll help diagnose it.

What's covered

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. If a defect appears within 30 days of delivery, we'll repair the product or replace it with the same or a comparable model, at our discretion.

What isn't covered

  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Improper handling, installation, or operation
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Extreme environmental conditions (moisture, heat, corrosion)
  • Accidental damage — drops, impact, or liquid exposure
  • Normal wear and tear

How a return works

  1. Submit your request Use the button below, and we will begin the review.
  2. We review it We'll confirm the product is within its warranty period and follow up by email with return instructions for your region.
  3. Send the product back Pack it so it survives the trip — anti-static bag where applicable, and enough padding that pins and connectors aren't taking the load. Include everything that shipped with it.
  4. Inspection and resolution We may inspect the product before approving a claim. Once approved, we repair or replace it and ship it back to you.

Regional returns

We fulfill from warehouses in the US, the UK, and the Netherlands, and returns are routed to the facility nearest you. Don't ship anything back before you've received return instructions — packages sent to the wrong facility can't be processed and may be refused.

Customers outside the US, UK, and EU are liable for import duties on their original order, and duties already paid aren't refundable by us. See our shipping policy and tax & VAT information for details.

Common questions

My order arrived damaged or incomplete.

Start a return request right away and include photos of the packaging as well as the product. Shipping damage is easiest to resolve when it's reported early.

I ordered the wrong product.

Get in touch through the return request form. Unopened products in original condition can usually be handled case by case — reach out before the 30-day window closes.

My board is more than 30 days old.

The warranty period has passed, but contact us anyway. Depending on the failure, we may still be able to help.

I bought from a distributor or reseller.

Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. If you bought from a reseller, start your claim with them.

I modified or soldered to the board.

Modifications and unauthorized repairs aren't covered. That said, describe what you did when you submit the request — if the failure is unrelated to the modification, tell us and we'll take a look.

I'm a commercial or volume customer.

Contact us directly rather than using the return form, and we'll handle it through your account.

Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of the product. We're not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use it. This policy is subject to change without notice.
